Lasting Impression I, Inc. and MCN Int'l, 543 U.S. 111, our team represented Lasting Impression I, Inc. and MCN Int'l, the owners of the incontestable MICRO COLORS trademark. As a landmark decision, the U.S. Supreme Court provided the national standard for descriptive fair-use trademark cases. After applying this standard, the Ninth Circuit ruled that the clients-trademark owners were the prevailing party.
