Mr. Wu began his professional career as an Electrical Engineer.  Mr. Wu had worked for the following corporations as an Electrical Engineer Intern at the Xerox corporation; Software Engineer for the international Business machines corporation (I.B.M.); Senior Engineer for the Western Digital Corporation and was assigned responsibility in the area of electronic circuitry development of very large scale integrated ("VLSI") chips; and Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. where he held title as senior design engineer.

While in law school, Mr. Wu clerked for a prominent intellectual property law firm in Newport Beach.  he subsequently worked as a staff attorney for a medium size business litigation law firm.  Where he was there, he litigated many high profile cases in Orange County.

Mr. Wu is fluent in the Chinese dialect of Mandarin.
